At PPDC we believe that we can change the world.  Our programs are designed to meet the individual needs of the
families and children in our community, while instilling the principles of personal responsibility and accountability -
with unconditional acceptance. Through PPDC’s direction, we offer help for those families affected by life crises.

We work collaborative with schools, churches, ministries, local businesses, corporations, government agencies and
communities.  We help provide practical, emotional, and physical assistance to those living in the margins, and help
integrate them back into society – to lead healthy, functional lives.

Partnering with Project Lighthouse, we participate as a Safe Place location.  Safe Place is a nationally acclaimed youth
outreach program that involves the whole community to provide safe havens and resources for youth in crisis. It is a
way for community youth services agencies to partner with businesses, schools, and other community organizations to
help young people. The program creates a network of “Safe Place” locations (youth friendly business, schools, fire
stations, libraries, bus stations, and other public buildings) that displays the safe place sign. These Safe Place
locations extend the doors of the youth service agency or shelter throughout the community, making it easier for
youth to get immediate help in their own neighborhoods.  We are excited about being able to partner with such a
wonderful organization.

Through Sea Haven Inc, and Project Lighthouse we are able to have reading programs and supply back to school
materials to many of the children in our local and surrounding communities.  Through local city churches and
corporations we have been able to expand our outreach programs with Feeding the Families and Project Christmas
and we have made a huge impact within our community and surrounding communities.

PPDC Outreach is committed to affecting real change in the lives of those in the margins of society, by providing a
hand up, not just a hand out.  Our outreach program exists to transform lives and strengthen communities by providing
healing, hope, and God's unconditional love to children, youth-at-risk and families.

We envision the day when the self-perpetuating cycles of dysfunction and impoverishment in families are broken, and
all children have the opportunity to grow into healthy adults - educated, free from poverty, safe from abuse and
violence, and engaged as members of the communities and nurturing families.  We are changing the world with one
good deed, one family, and one child at a time.

Thank you once again for your generous support of our outreach programs.  You are changing the world to make it a
better place for our children.

Respectfully yours,
